Minister JONORI is a dynamic and passionate worshipper, wholeheartedly dedicated to serving Jesus Christ and uplifting others through her life and ministry. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, she immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of six, embracing a new chapter that would shape her remarkable journey. By the age of eight, she discovered her extraordinary gift for singing, quickly becoming the youngest member of the church choir at MESSIE Ministry International, under the spiritual leadership of her father, Apostle Joseph Mbo Essandjo.
Her deep passion for music and worship led her to nearly a decade of vocal coaching, as well as intensive training in musical and theatrical performance. She further honed her skills academically, earning a degree in Communications from the University of Colorado Denver. Minister JONORI’s talents extend beyond music—she is also an active-duty member of the United States Navy, specializing in finance and personnel management, and currently resides in Bakersfield, California.
Since releasing her debut single, Made to Worship, in 2019, Minister JONORI has continued to inspire others through her anointed worship and soul-stirring lyrics. Known not just for her vocal excellence but for the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in her music, she seeks to lead hearts to Christ and witness nations transformed by the power of authentic worship. Through her unwavering dedication, Minister JONORI exemplifies a life lived in pursuit of God’s glory, believing that her music is a vessel for salvation and revival across the globe.
